Day Description
Day 1
Begin your adventure with an early morning drive from Nairobi, heading toward the Great Rift Valley. After a brief stop at the viewpoint, continue to Mount Longonot National Park where your hike begins. The initial climb to the crater rim takes about 1–2 hours depending with your pace, following a steep but rewarding trail that offers sweeping views of the Rift Valley.

Upon reaching the rim, you can choose to take the optional full crater loop, a more challenging circuit that takes the total hiking time to 4–5 hours. This route circles the entire crater, giving you panoramic views of the forested interior and the surrounding escarpments.

After descending, you may head to Lake Naivasha for a relaxing lunch or opt for a peaceful boat ride to spot hippos, birdlife, and enjoy the scenic lakeside environment.
